About Dr. James Bastian
A Doctor of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan and a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Canada (FRCS), Dr. James Bastian learned firsthand what matters most to women.
Practicing medicine in Saskatchewan since 1989 to present, Dr. Bastian has a robust private practice focused on women's health care. Beyond his practice, he has shared his expertise with various medical committees, including the Directorship of the Women's Health Center of the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region and the medical students of the University of Saskatchewan as a professor.
An important lesson that Dr. Bastian learned through his outstanding career in obstetrics & gynecology was that women care as much about their appearance as the way they feel.
In order to best serve his patients, Dr. Bastian cultivated both knowledge and skills using lasers to provide aesthetics - hair removal, treatment of spider veins, MicroLaserPeels, and photorejuvenation. He is also recognized as an expert Botox injector and has a large practice involving the use of cosmetic fillers, such as Juvederm. A leader in the management of cellulite reduction and facial skin tightening, Dr. Bastian uses bipolar and unipolar radiofrequencies.
Today, patients and clients place their trust in Dr. Bastian’s 20 plus years of experience using of lasers in women's health care. He is a member of the American Society of Lipo-Suction Surgery.
Dr. Bastian founded the Nu Image Cosmetic Laser Center in Regina, Saskatchewan in March 2000. It gives him great personal satisfaction to see people look and feel their best and to help men and women enjoy a newer positive self image.
